Beginning May 15th, 2019 and Ending September 11th, 2019.

"Camp Snap", is designed to offer each participant a series of techniques and styles that will heighten your abilities and take your images to the next level.

We will be meeting for 8 total sessions over the Spring & Summer Months.

Each class is a day of intensive training at the N.Y. Botanical Garden.

The camp is for any level participant from beginner to advanced, interested in flower, macro, and garden photography.

The Course Objective is to offer you a new series of techniques via select lessons designed to build your skills and enhance your photography from one level to the next.

The course syllabus will guide you in between sessions, in your off time, while you work independently developing your skills.

The arrangement of dates and duration of the course is designed to give participants ample practice time in between lessons and shooting assignments.  Each session will

offer new and customized material as we work in a group flow highlighting individual concentration for each photographers skill level.

We will work on garden landscape, close up and macro photography from basic to advanced techniques.  We will start each segment with a demonstration and lens recommendations.  We will concentrate on: selecting images, composing images properly, working with and how to manage lighting, focus from full to soft and muted, full frame macro images to framing and using negative space.
Additional topics of interest: high-key, textures, abstracts, friendly garden creatures and macro droplets as they present themselves.  Droplets single, multiple, reflection, refraction, solo petal, rimmed drops, and using filters in lighting refraction.

I look forward to working with each of you one on one and in the group setting, mentoring you toward attaining your fullest potential.
